Spectacular Events
Does anyone know of anything truly spectacular going on tomorrow night that begins before 10? I am searching through Entertainment News Northwest and Take 5, but I thought I would see if the community had anything they thought was a must see or do! Its my husband and my 2 year anniversary and I want to find something amazing for us to do. We are open to pretty much anything. Thanks! Current Mood: inquisitive |

Notification System
**FINAL EDIT Thu Dec 10 02:15:47 UTC 2009** So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything. And finally some answers to some questions: ( Read More and Get Some Answers... ) Current Mood: grumpy |

ATTENTION PLEASE!
Between the hours of 2 and 10am, someone sawed off part of our cedar tree and stole my tricycle. This rather smacks of premeditation, as it's only been chained to that tree since Friday night (very late), and the tree was definitely sawed through. People don't usually go around carrying something that could cut through green cedar in their pockets. I've already filed a police report, but I really need the help of other people's eyes to look out for it. So.... Schwinn retro-styled adult tricycle, model "Meridian" (it says so down the main body piece), dark red paint with white accents, chrome basket in back, between the two back wheels. I had a chain with a round U-haul lock on it, and the chain has a red, yellow, and orange knit cosy. I think the chain would have to be cut, rather than manipulated off. Anyway, I don't think there are any others just like this rolling around town. There was a similar black one, which was stolen a couple months ago, but it was a different make and model. PLEASE help me look for this; it was my only method of transportation, and my feet and ankles can't take the pounding that getting around town entails. Thanks, Tanayle (sorry for the cross-posting) |
